Music Library
Sheet music in Beam is uploaded and stored as songs. Within the Music Library, songs can be organized in two ways beyond the default view: collections and setlists. Collections work as labels — a song can belong to multiple collections at the same time. Setlists allow specific songs to be placed in a defined order for a rehearsal or performance, and the same song can appear in a setlist more than once. Songs, collections, and setlists can each be filtered or sorted within the Music Library.
Beam supports importing sheet music from PDFs stored on a local device or in cloud storage. During import, Administrators can identify whether the PDF represents the score or a specific part — or split a single PDF into multiple parts by selecting which pages belong to each. Additional tools allow pages to be cropped, sliced, rotated, or duplicated as needed. Once imported, songs are added to the Music Library and can then be assigned to Groups.
